Our standard service area includes locations within a 30-minute drive of Benson's Park in Hudson, NH. Appointments within this area do not incur a travel fee.If you are located 30–45 minutes from Benson's Park, we're often still able to travel to you, subject to scheduling availability. A $30 travel fee applies to these appointments.At this time, we are unable to accept clients located more than 45 minutes from Benson’s Park. Training Approach

Our training is designed to be clear, practical, and tailored to both the dog and the household. We focus on building communication, structure, and real-world reliability so you can confidently work with your dog beyond the session itself.
We use a balanced, individualized approach that may include management strategies, skill-building exercises, and behavior modification techniques depending on your dog’s needs. Every dog is different, and training is always adjusted based on progress, environment, and owner goals.

How Do We Get Started?

Every training program begins with a required evaluation. During this session, we will get to know you and your dog, discuss your training goals, and assess your dog’s current behavior and skill level. From there, we create a preliminary training plan tailored specifically to your dog’s needs.

Which Evaluation Should I Select?

Accepted Answer

Most dogs are eligible for a phone evaluation, which allows us to discuss your goals, your dog’s behavior, and determine the best training plan moving forward.

Dogs displaying human aggression are required to complete an in-person evaluation for safety and accuracy of assessment.

If you prefer an in-person evaluation, you are welcome to select that option even if it is not required for your dog.

Client Participation

Clients are required to be present for all training sessions. We do not conduct lessons without the owner or primary handler present, as hands-on coaching is essential for achieving lasting results.

Family members are welcome and encouraged to participate when appropriate, including children when safe to do so. For consistency and effectiveness, we typically recommend no more than two active handlers per session.

For multi-dog households, each participating dog must have one dedicated adult handler present during the session to ensure safety, structure, and effective learning for all dogs involved.

Recommended Training Frequency

Training frequency plays a major role in progress, consistency, and long-term success. While every case is unique, we typically recommend weekly to biweekly sessions for most dogs, especially during the initial stages of training.

We understand that every household has different schedules and budgets, and we will always work with you to create a plan that is realistic and sustainable for your lifestyle.

For behavior modification cases or more complex challenges, more frequent sessions or structured follow-ups may be recommended to ensure steady, consistent progress. We will always provide clear guidance on the ideal training schedule based on your dog’s individual needs and goals.

Behavior Cases & Training Environments

For dogs working through behavioral challenges such as reactivity, fear, or anxiety, training is always customized to the individual dog.

We begin in lower-distraction, controlled environments where the dog can learn and succeed. As progress is made, we gradually increase difficulty by introducing more realistic environments and controlled exposure to triggers.

The goal is always steady, sustainable progress without overwhelming the dog.

What if I have Multiple Dogs?

Additional dogs from the same household may be included in the same training appointment. Each additional dog is $50 per session.

For multi-dog sessions, each dog must have a dedicated adult handler present to ensure safety, structure, and effective learning for all dogs involved. This allows each dog to receive proper guidance and attention throughout the session while maintaining control and clarity.

Please note that additional time is not added to the appointment for extra dogs, so structure and participation are especially important to make the most of the session.
